Orchestra
BON ART POPS ORCHESTRA is a symphony orchestra made up exclusively of women. The idea of an all-female symphony orchestra arose when planning concerts at the State Opera in 2010 and 2011. But it was not until 2014 that a purely women's orchestra was formed, with which other events and concerts began to be planned.
In the Bon Art Pops Orchestra, we have only the most experienced instrumentalists who can play parts of classical, musical, film and popular music. The orchestra also functions as a studio orchestra for the recording of music records for the likes of Leona Machálková, Markéta Konvičková, Jaroslav Svěcený and other prominent personalities of our Czech scene.
In 2017, BAPO was part of Michal Hrůza's concert in the Rudolfinum, featured on the album "Michal Hrůza in Rudolfinum". Our permanent project is the musical final gala evening for the international singing competition Sanremo Junior, which you can see every year at the Hybernia Theatre.
The Bon Art Pops Orchestra accompanied a number of stars at its concerts, such as: Miro Žbirka, Helena Vondráčková, Jaroslav Svěcený, Leona Machálková, Radim Schwab, David Koller, Markéta Konvičková, Marek Ztracený, Dan McCafferty, Janek Ledecký, Chinaski and others…
